Front size and buttons

The perfect size is one that fits one palm when buttoned up. Leave the bottom button undone.

Shoulder width fit

Try it on and check in the mirror that the shoulder width is just right. Make sure there are no unnecessary wrinkles on the back.

Sleeve length

A good guideline is that with your arms down, 1 to 1.5 cm of your shirt sleeve should be visible.

Length balance

Avoid having your hips visible from the hem. The best balance is to have about 2/3 of your hips covered.

Tie length

The best balance for a tie is when the tip of the tie is resting on the belt.

Hem length

A good guideline for the length of your pants is that they should cover your ankles when you are wearing your shoes, and the hem should hang over the opening of your shoes.
