This is a made-in-Japan curved belt made using chrome-tanned leather from Sanyo Co., Ltd., a long-established tannery founded in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture.

Sanyo's chrome-tanned leather is a scientifically tanned material that uses trivalent chromium, an essential mineral for the human body, resulting in leather with good coloring, elasticity, and water resistance. It is also soft and durable, making it an excellent natural material for bags, shoes, and clothing. Sanyo also manufactures leather that complies with global environmental regulations such as the RoHS Directive and REACH Regulation, as well as leather that meets the Japanese Eco Leather Standards.

This is an environmentally friendly and sustainable product that uses leather produced by tanners approved by the international organization LWG (Leather Working Group).

[Leather products precautions]
■The raw hides used as raw materials are a food by-product, and cannot avoid the scars, wrinkles, blood vessels, and uneven coloring that are inherent to cows.
■Depending on the product, the color may fade or transfer. Also, fading due to sunlight cannot be avoided.
■If it gets wet, it may fade or cause blisters. We recommend applying a waterproof spray before use.
■As this is a natural material, there may be scratches and wrinkles. In addition, the degree of dyeing may vary depending on the quality and thickness of the leather, and there may be differences in color.
■In order to take advantage of the characteristics of the material, we do not process the color stopper more than necessary. Therefore, please note that the color may fade or fade due to moisture, sweat, friction, etc. Please be especially careful when using with white or light colors.
